Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor who has been a part of the SSC's board from 2011 is the co-founding artistic director of the new theatre company Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. As SSC's Artistic Directors, Lauren Ash-Morgan also served in the capacities of producer costume/set designers composer/music directors as well as text coaches. While she was usually the leader of the acting ensemble in her final year she made her first appearance as an actor (and Lighting Designer) in the SSC's King Lear. In a private note, Post was previously married with Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) is Post's husband since 1982. They have two daughters. An amazing actress, and a perfect wife and mother. Post is an inspiration for many in Hollywood.

All the time, I felt I needed to push myself to act and behave like I wouldn't normally do. I was not listening to what I wanted to do. What I heard was what I was told I should do.
