Eva Mendes is both an actor and a model. Eva Mendes was first discovered by a talent agency that noticed her potential. They convinced her she was destined to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. She dropped out of college after much consideration to pursue a career in entertainment. Her debut was in the movie Children of the Corn V : Fields of Terror, and she wasn't happy with how the film turned out. She was determined to perfect her acting abilities and appeared in several low-budget movies in order to demonstrate her talents. This was no easy road for this actress however, her determination and patience was rewarded. It was after her successful performance during Training Day that her career began to take off.
