Kolber is a Pennsylvania native, Kolber received her graduate diploma in The University of Miami. She started her professional career as a video producer at CBS Sports in New York City. She received a Sports Emmy while working for WTVJ-TV Miami. Other jobs she held included WPLG-TV Miami & WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. She was hired by ESPN in 1993 and was one of the first anchors of ESPN2 which was created. She was with ESPN2 from 1993 to 1999, before joining Fox Sports. Then, in 1999, she returned to ESPN and is currently host of the show "Monday Night Countdown.".
